Love vs Career

It may not be at the moment but I know sooner or later, there will come a time that I have to choose between the two. And it scares the shit out of me. It’s not really having to give up one for the other. It’s more on which is the one that you’d put to risk.

It reminds me of the song, “How to Deal” by Frankie J. 

“Do I live my life with you as my wife
 Or do I go on and pursue my lifetime dream
 I gotta do this for me
 Cause if I don’t I’ll probably regret it
 But if I do I’ll probably regret it”

Sometimes life’s not fair. You can’t stand the fact that at any moment you’re away, the one you love will fall out of love for you and fall in love with someone else. But you owe it to yourself to chase your dreams. It sucks that chasing your dreams means being away from the one you love. Here goes the tears. This situation is lose-lose. 

Oh well, I just have to trust God’s will. Trust love.
